Inspiring Women in STEM conference draws hundreds of local leaders

On Oct. 22, about 300 female professionals from the science, engineering and education fields participated in the second annual Inspiring Women in STEM Conference.
The event, which was held at the DuPont Country Club, featured speakers and panel discussions on various topics. Participants also received tips for networking and career planning.
Speakers represented various local science and technology companies, including: DuPont, AstraZeneca, Ashland, Agilent Technologies, W.L. Gore & Associates, University of Delaware, Solenis and Air Liquide.
