If you’re not being creative at work, what’s the point? This workshop can help

Feeling stuck and uncreative in your work? Some may say that’s the lay of the land in many fields (i.e., if you’re not an “artist” of some kind your work can’t possibly be “creative”), but Monica Kang is trying to spread a different message.

The belief that anyone, in any career, can integrate more creativity into their work with the proper tools led Kang to found InnovatorsBox — a “creative leadership educational firm empowering leaders and companies.” InnovatorsBox, in a nutshell, teaches professionals how to use those aforementioned tools.

As we wrote in a profile back in October, Kang does this in a few different ways — through workshops and happy hours and bespoke creative consulting. Kang’s signature creativity bootcamp is called Creative Jump, and the next one is scheduled for Feb. 25-26.

According to the event page, Creative Jump will help participants “demystify … assumptions about creativity and learn how it relates to your work” and “view the world differently through the newly acquired creative lens and return to the office a different person.” Quite a feat for a one and a half day event.
