The crew behind IglooHome, the DreamIt Ventures grads that build smart-home tools for Airbnb hosts, won the grand prize at a Southeast Asian tech conference called Techventure 2015. They went home with $50,000.
IglooHome’s founders are from Singapore, where the conference was held. They founded the startup at a company hackathon last year (they worked at Singapore telecom giant Singtel). Cofounder Walter Wang Yue told us they’re still based in Philly, though. They work out of BuLogics’ new East Falls office.
