Apptix, an enterprise, cloud-based services company based in Herndon, has sold off the majority of its public cloud customers to GoDaddy in a $22.5 million cash deal.
The company plans on using the money to grow its services into a “broader portfolio of managed services and cloud solutions,” it announced in a press release Wednesday.
“This is a transforming event for Apptix,” Apptix President Chris Mack said in the release. “The capital from this transaction provides Apptix with the resources necessary to support both organic and inorganic growth initiatives.”
