Cool talk alert: Meet font whisperer Rich Roat

The founder of Yorklyn-based design agency House Industries has worked with Jimmy Kimmel and luxury brand Hermes. He's next up for The Mill's speaker series.

The Mill’s speaker series has been bringing in an impressive roster of speakers. Designing a thriving ecosystem in the City of Wilmington and navigating government partnerships for entrepreneurs were topics covered at the very first talks given at the space. Now, the coworking space has another talk in store for you next week with founder Rich Roat of House Industries. It’s on Jan. 19 at 6 p.m. at The Mill’s Theatre N.

Roat’s work is currently a part of the permanent collection at the Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum in New York City.
