Tour the new office of e-commerce firm Groove Commerce [PHOTOS]

At 10,000 square feet, the new office is more than double the size of Groove Commerce's old office.

Ecommerce company Groove Commerce was recently named one of the 15 best startups to work for in the U.S. While the employee full-time benefits package was cited as a main reason for Groove’s inclusion, working inside its new 10,000-square-foot office on South Central Avenue probably doesn’t hurt either.

The new office, which is located inside the old Fallsway Spring and Equipment Co. building north of Harbor East and close to Little Italy, cost more than $1 million to build. A graduate of the Emerging Technology Center‘s Canton office (it, too, recently relocated), Groove Commerce started working out of its new office in early October.
It’s a hefty price tag for a new space, but the new office is more than double the size of the old, and for a reason: cofounder and CEO Ethan Giffin said in October that Groove Commerce, which now employs 23 people, is interested in hiring 20 additional employees.
