Free People launched a shopping app late last month. The free app, developed with Old City ecommerce platform provider WebLinc, provides sale alerts, an online catalog and access to the retailer’s online style gallery FP Me.

Free People is one Urban Outfitters’ brand that has been especially interested in using social media and technology to engage its customers. It demoed a social media campaign at a fall Philly Tech Meetup.
