Philly-based law firm Ballard Spahr has decidedly been reaching out to the startup scene.
Earlier this year, we told you about the company’s Project SING startup initiative (Seed, Incubate, Nurture, Grow), itself a spinoff of another program led by the firm called Ballard Academy for Student Entrepreneurs (BASE).
Well, Forbes caught wind of BASE and gave it a feature published last week. In the piece, attorney Greg Seltzer, who spearheaded BASE and represents startups like Ticketleap and Guru, stated the importance of helping startups get their legal game on point from day one.
“For Ballard Spahr, the BASE program extends the firm’s pro bono services to the underserved student start-up community and provides training opportunities for junior associates, says Seltzer,” wrote Forbes contributor Samantha Drake.
