WHO’S GETTING BUZZ

Fisker Automotive will be renamed Elux, according to a recent Digital Trends article. Chinese automotive supplier Wanxiang is relaunching the car company’s sole product, which will be called the “Elux Karma” and is set to be released in mid-2016.
Back when it was Fisker, the company purchased a former General Motors plant in Delaware, which helped Wanxiang’s successful bid for the company.

PNC recently released its regional economic forecast for the first quarter of 2015. The report says Delaware is faring better than most of the Northeast corridor:

Over the longer run Delaware’s concentrations in finance and professional/business services, the state’s strategic location along the I-95 corridor between Philadelphia and Baltimore, a low cost of doing business for the Northeast, and favorable business environment, including low taxes, will support growth. An expanding population, thanks to positive net migration, low taxes, and affordable housing, will bolster demand for healthcare and consumer industries and support homebuilding, although the labor force will grow more slowly than the population because of the influx of retirees. Job growth will be close to the national average over the long run, and above average for the Northeast. Income growth will lag behind the U.S., however.
