Eastern Shore Business Plan Competition: registration deadline extended to Nov. 7

One stipulation of the competition is that winning companies must use the money to "establish or continue business operations in Maryland Eastern Shore counties."

Registration for the inaugural Eastern Shore Business Plan Competition is extended to Nov. 7 due to Hurricane Sandy.
The competition, whose purpose “is to promote and encourage the startup of new businesses … on Maryland’s Eastern Shore,” will dole out $35,000 total in money and services to three teams or individuals that place.
