A drone whirring overhead in Federal Hill this week caught the Baltimore Brew’s eye.
The drone is the product of Mount Holyoke, N.J.-based Camagine Design, and it’s taking footage of tourist and historic sites throughout Baltimore for a city-themed display tourist organization Visit Baltimore has in the works.
Check out a video of the drone here.
According to the Brew:
The men said they are using the drone-mounted camera all over Baltimore to film footage for a display about the city. They are using their company’s “CineMapping” story technology, according to the company Facebook page. It’s going to be part of a “unique theater experience” set to open next year at the Baltimore Visitor Center at the Inner Harbor. …
“We’ve been at the B&O Railroad Museum, the Babe Ruth birthplace, the Sports Legends Museum, Camden Yards, the Johnny Unitas statue,” said [Allan] Hollowell.
