The National Drone Show is coming back to D.C. in December (Dec. 7-8), and this year it will feature an inaugural D.C. Drone Film Festival.
Even better? You can enter a film in the Festival for a chance to win prizes and have your film shown during the Drone Show. “The D.C. Drone Film Festival will celebrate the visionary work of drone videographers from across the country and around the world,” organizers promise. “Nothing is more imaginative and experimental than creating videos using your unmanned aircraft system.”
Submissions are being accepted until Nov. 11 — so get on it. No plans this weekend? Well, now you do — make a really badass drone film. ✅
All films must be five minutes or less, and be made up of at least 50 percent drone footage. Find more information and the rules for submission here. Find aerial inspiration here.
