This weekend: Head to Yorklyn to celebrate Dew Point Brewing’s first birthday

The side hustle of Barn Creative founder Nick Matarese is hosting a weekend-long patio party.

Dew Point Brewing is turning a year old, and it’s marking the occasion with not just one party, but three days of music, food, foosball, yoga and, of course, plenty of Dew Point beer — including an official beer release.
The Yorklyn craft brewery offers tastings Wednesday through Sunday year round, featuring its popular Hopwarts Express IPA, Red Clay Organic Pale Ale, Hoffmanweizen and Nit Wit, as well as selected brews on tap. (We got to sample the Hopwarts and Nit Wit at last month’s Super Meetup. Good stuff.)
If you haven’t checked out this family-run brewery yet, now is the time. Tech-scene staple and Barn Creative founder Nick Matarese runs Dew Point on the side.
Food will be available from a few food trucks, featuring Newark’s Dumplings & Co. and LOMA-based Zaikka Indian Grill.
