Delaware Bio’s Inspiring Women in STEM Conference may not on the table for 2020, but on June 4, there’s an alternative: Delaware Bio’s virtual women’s forum, with the topic “Transformational Leadership: Why STEM Women Must Lead Now.”
Led by speaker Susan Morris — a Philadelphia-based instructional designer, consultant and business coach — the 90-minute forum will explore “transformational leadership,” defined as when “leaders and followers help each other to advance to a higher level of morale and motivation.”
Morris says that women in STEM “have the innate ability to form and nurture business partnerships, key to the life sciences marketplace.” Her session will help participants to take a transformational leadership skills self-assessment.
The event will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 4. Cost is $49. Register online.
