DC CyberWeek returns for another year hosted by CyberScoop, a cybersecurity news outlet that’s part of the D.C.-based tech media company Scoop News Group.

The weeklong series of events kicks off on Monday, Oct. 15 and will feature more than 100 events focused on a wide range of cybersecurity topics. Last year, CyberWeek attracted more than 6, 500 attendees to more than 60 events, the cybersecurity news outlet reported.

“The event is  a SXSW-style, city-wide festival that brings together thousands of leaders, experts and decision-makers from the cybersecurity community and features dozens of community conferences, events and parties, open to all participants,” Greg Otto, editor-in-chief of CyberScoop, told DC. “By bringing together everyone during the week, we hope they find new ways to collaborate, innovate and work smarter moving forward.”

View the full schedule here and attend events such as CyberScoop’s CyberTalks, a conference dedicated to addressing cybersecurity priorities, trends, innovations, and the unprecedented security challenges ahead, Otto said.

“We encourage members of the cybersecurity, tech, government, legal, education and non-profit communities to participate and find events that would assist them in their jobs,” Otto told us.
