The launch cycle has been initiated for Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory’s International Space Apps Challenge.
This year’s dates for the interplanetary hackathon are April 23-24. The event will be at the APL facility in Laurel, Md.
Along with a chance to build apps for space, organizers say the event provides a chance to meet other space enthusiasts and NASA engineers. The event is just one site out of 100 around the world, so international prestige is also at stake.
The 2016 website is not yet available for registration, but we’ll have info when it’s out there.
