You could be eligible for more aid in response to COVID-19 than you think — especially if your startup has pivoted to help find solutions specific to the pandemic. Every week, there are new funding initiatives available for businesses, nonprofits and individuals, with a new Congressional aid package on track to potentially pass by late April.

There’s the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, Emergency Supplemental bill and the Families First Coronavirus Response Act offering aid like R&D grants, forgivable and low-interest loans and tax credits. But you have to know about the programs and what steps to take to apply for aid before you can benefit.

The Delaware Bioscience Association has recommended several webinars presented by the D.C.-based G2G Consulting to keep on top of COVID-19 Congressional activity, offered weekly with continuous updates.

Some of the topics include:

  • Key programs and policies in the coronavirus response legislation
  • Guidance on Paycheck Protection Program and other Small Business Administration loan criteria for businesses and nonprofits
  • FEMA, HHS, DoD, NSF and other federal agencies seeking private sector assistance to fight COVID-19
  • New sources of non-dilutive government funding and other resources

Upcoming G2G Webinars will happen every Tuesday in April from noon to 1 p.m. You can listen to previous webinars, download slides and register for upcoming webinars on G2G’s events page.
