“What’s next for Baltimore? Think start-ups.”
That’s the headline on a new report from CNBC, which looks at TEDCO’s focus on seeding lots of early-stage companies with smaller investments.
TEDCO President Rob Rosenbaum says in terms of volume of deals, “TEDCO is head and shoulders above almost everybody.”
Waving the flag for Charm City startups is Citelighter and CEO Saad Alam. The edtech company, which recently graduated from Betamore and moved to new Federal Hill offices, has revenues in the multimillion-dollar range, Alam told the San Francisco-based reporter who filed the story.
