Chesapeake Regional Tech Council grows to three FT, hires Lindsay Powell

The Chesapeake Regional Tech Council, part of Maryland’s sprawling network of groups aiming to organize, connect and grow the IT sector, added a third full-time employee this month.
University of Maryland alumnae Lindsay Powell joins Executive Director Kris Shock and Gretchen Snow, who will take on a director of membership and marketing, at the CRTC, which was founded in 1992. Powell will lead the group’s events.
With nearly 300 member business from Anapolis, D.C. and Baltimore, the CRTC is a nonprofit 501c6 supported by a grant from the Maryland Department of Business and Economic Development (MD DBED) and a grant from the Anne Arundel Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC) and “enabled by membership and annual sustaining sponsorship.”
