Get out your best green sweater and check out these events happening across Delaware at different Delaware Technical Community College campuses Thursday:
First, the Delaware UAS/UAV Task Force is having its fourth meeting from 2-4 p.m. at Delaware Tech’s Dover campus (Education and Technology Building, Room 741). The meeting will cover a resolution on drones for the legislature to adopt, ideas for outreach initiatives and economic development options as well as information on the Mid-Atlantic Aviation Partnership.
The last meeting in February attracted 25 representatives from 20 organizations, ranging from the Delaware Economic Development Office to the Federal Aviation Administration to the Wilmington Police Department, along with a dozen other people simply interested in the future of drones in Delaware.
On Monday, Delaware Tech hosted three interactive drone events open to the public, and is leading the drone charge with the hashtag, #DronesForDelaware:
