This map shows you where Maryland’s fall festivals are

It's the latest from Carson Research Consulting.

Carson Research Consulting still maps after Labor Day.
Following up on a map of outdoor film screenings in the Baltimore area, the Hampden firm created a handy map of fall festivals in Maryland.
Along with favorites like the Maryland Renaissance Festival, the map also provides a way to find new ways to spend a crisp weekend. For instance, there was last weekend’s Remote Control Airplane Festival just outside the city in Halethorpe. Or this weekend’s Fell’s Point Fun Festival. Or, hey, Technical.ly’s Baltimore Innovation Week.
The map shows the locations of 90 festivals in the state, including many in Baltimore.

Along with branching out beyond the city, the team also used new dev tactics, said Carson Research Consulting’s Matthew Earls.
“The map was built within Google Maps,” Earls said. “It’s our first real attempt beyond an ESRI story map template.”
