Blue Blaze Associates, a Newark-based full-service marketing and design agency, has won the AVA Digital Gold Award in this year’s international AVA Digital Awards, an international competition is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. The competition recognizes excellence by creative professionals responsible for the planning, concept, direction, design and production of digital communication.
Blue Blaze won for the redesign of a collection of multinational websites for Inductotherm Group, a New Jersey-based parent company to 40 companies that manufacture more than 275 products across 21 countries for induction melting, heating and welding equipment.
The redesigned Inductrotherm website includes new online resource database named “The Quarry” and a coordinating multisite website is for 34 sub-companies, with translation support for up to 13 languages.
“This is one of the largest projects Blue Blaze has ever completed,” said Sandy Taccone, CEO of Blue Blaze, in a statement. “The biggest challenge we tackled was developing custom code to support the central product database so each of the products can be stored, revised and broadcast to any of the sub-company sites in multiple languages. I am proud of my team’s ability to adapt and problem-solve.”
Blue Blaze is an all woman-led firm that is also involved with the community; Wendy Scott, its chief strategy officer, is co-organizer of the panel series Conversations with Women. She also shared six tips for leading your small biz remotely with Technical.ly in March.
