Benjamin Franklin Technology Partners (BFTP) named Omar Mencin manager of special projects, which involves overseeing BFTP’s involvement with the Project Liberty Digital Incubator, the Philadelphia Business Journal reports. The organization added two other managers to its staff: Jeffrey Rahm, who will work the Energy Efficient Buildings Hub, and Mark S. Trabbold, who will oversee the Delaware River Water Alliance.

Radnor-based medical device company Intellirad Control raised $5.3 million, according to an SEC filing. The company builds products to reduce the amount of radiation needed for certain procedures, says Intellirad CEO Steven Nichtberg’s LinkedIn page.
