KoolSpan, a mobile cybersecurity company based in Bethesda, has been selected to help secure the communications of Samsung’s enterprise customers, KoolSpan announced Wednesday.
Samsung will incorporate KoolSpan’s tools for encrypted wireless calling, mobile messaging and secure calls between cellphones and office lines into its general mobility IT offerings for businesses.
In a press release, KoolSpan CEO Nigel Jones applauded the emergence of a “growing ‘sweet spot’ in the enterprise market that our companies are uniquely able to fulfill with secure mobile communications running on popular devices.”
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
