BarCamp Philly – One of the cornerstone events of the Philly tech community is back. For the uninitiated, BarCamp Philly is a an unconference with an open schedule where attendees can present on any topic they want. See our previous coverage here and here. All Day. Saturday. University CityINFO.
Hacks/Hackers – Take it from us, journalism has a shortage of developers and people that think like developers. Hacks/Hackers hopes to connect programmers and journalists to help improve the field of journalism. H/H has been kicking in New York City for over a year and the first local meet up is this week, led in part by the socially-minded devs at Azavea . Tuesday. 6:00 p.m. Center City. INFO.
