Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake is scheduled to speak Friday evening before the hackathon kicks off, and representatives from the city’s Department of Transportation will be on hand all weekend.
“We’re looking forward to hearing and seeing the ideas on how technology can help make transportation in Baltimore more efficient,” said department spokeswoman Adrienne Barnes. “We hope [Reinvent Transit] serves as a catalyst for further innovation.”
