A New York-based alcohol delivery service expanded to Baltimore this week.
Minibar Delivery, which allows booze orders to be placed via app, went live in the city on Wednesday. The Baltimore Business Journal reports that the service is initially partnered with five liquor stores, including in Canton and Hampden.

The service connects users to a store, and provides delivery of beer, wine and liquor. Minibar Delivery partners with local liquor stores, who then provide delivery and complete the orders.
The service was founded by Lara Crystal and Lindsey Andrews, and launched in 2013. The expansion comes after the startup raised $5 million in August, Techcrunch reported. It’s now in more than 25 markets. As we’ve reported, other players are in the local liquor delivery space, including Drizly.
