Apkudo, a mobile development startup founded in 2011 with offices in England, Australia and Chicago and headquarters in Canton, has acquired Blue Potato, a “wireless device testing and certification company,” based in San Diego, California.
Apkudo offers “free app testing for Android-based developers.” Prior to launching a new Android app, developers are able to, using Apkudo Approved, run their apps on close to 300 different Android devices to gauge how well the app will perform and sort out any glitches or bugs in the app prior to launch.
