Amify, a startup that provides tech and services designed to help small businesses and brands maximize their selling potential on the Amazon Marketplace, has relocated its Alexandria, Va. headquarters to the Arlington, Va. area coined Crystal City. This move brings the company within blocks of the site of Amazon’s second headquarters.
Amify reported in a press release that it hopes this new HQ will position the company to attract and retain more top talent to expand its customer base. This HQ relocation comes after Amify closed a $5.8 million Series A funding round in March and hired a new CMO, Andy Cipra, a former Procter & Gamble marketing executive, last month.
“Following the close of our Series A funding round in March, we quickly outgrew our Alexandria location,” Ethan McAfee, CEO of Amify, said in a press release. “In a time of ongoing e-commerce flux, customers are demanding a better way to protect and manage their brands. We are excited to be in a space that can accommodate our growth and put us in a better position to serve our customers.”
The Crystal City space triple Amify’s available office space to make room for team growth. The startup reported that it will occupy the former Trustify building in Arlington. Beyond this expansion, Amify said it also plans to build a second headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.
