Kickstarter of the Week is a regular series highlighting the technology, creative and innovation Kickstarter campaigns in Baltimore that might be worth your support. See others here.
If you’re familiar with the 12 O’Clock Boys, then you already know about this group of dirt-bikers who drive around the streets of Baltimore and are pursued relentlessly by city police in squad cars and from above by Baltimore city police helicopters.
Since 2008, filmmaker Lotfy Nathan has been working on a documentary about Baltimore’s urban dirt-bike gang, and “12 O’Clock Boys” is now one of eight films chosen from among 905 submissions to be premiered at SXSW 2013 as part of the festival’s Documentary Feature Competition.

To finish the film, however, Nathan and his crew need $30,000.
Donate to the “12 O’Clock Boys” Kickstarter campaign.
The $30,000 will go toward:

  • Color correction
  • Online
  • Printing to HDCAM
  • Sound design and mixing
  • Licensing
  • Costs associated with music used in the film
  • Traveling to SXSW
