Use this West Chester-built app to update your iCal with one line of text

Clay Zug's specialty: super simple apps.

Clay Zug likes to keep it simple, stupid.

The West Chester-based mobile developer had previously built a no-frills messaging app called Text.

His latest is Update, an iOS app which lets you update your iCal with one line of text (“Coffee with Clay tomorrow at 4 p.m.”), instead of scrolling through all iCal’s options. He said he built it with his dad in mind because his dad had been using Text to do the same thing.

Download for free

It was featured on ProductHunt last week, which got him nearly 200 downloads in one day, he told us this weekend.

(And no, you can’t find it on the App Store with one search. Zug is aware of this. He called it “Update” to test and see if you could.)
