What’s your stack? Tell us for Tech Stacks Month

When he’s explaining the basics of web-based apps, Ken Rimple describes tech stacks as analogous to construction workers’ tool belts.

Just as a tool belt is where they’ll find the things they need to build a home, developers assemble a tech stack that has what they need to build software products. And the needs are different depending on the job, said Philadelphia-area tech consulting firm Chariot Solutions’ director of training and mentoring services, who trains devs on React, AngularJS, JavaScript and other frameworks and languages.

It’s Tech Stacks Month of Technical.ly’s 2019 editorial calendar, which means we’re devoting extra stories to the combination of libraries, frameworks and programming languages that make up local devs’ own tool belts. (Common Chariot stacks, per Rimple: Angular and Java, React and Node.js.)
