With dozens of active user groups in Philadelphia, it’s time they all finally come together for one gigantic group hug next Tuesday, April 16th.

Before the official Pong kickoff of Philly Tech Week presented by AT&T, more than a dozen local tech user groups will come together to mingle and share information about their respective groups over pizza and beer sponsored by Monetate, hosted by Zivtech at their Center City offices and organized by Technically Philly.

RSVP here for the 4/16 Pre-Tech Week Meta-Meetup of Meetup Groups.

We’ve been involved in other meetup groups of meetup groups before — including the Technically Philly Groups effort that brought together regular events at the Municipal Services Building, but there hasn’t always been interaction and we wanted to bring some new groups into the fold.

This is for development-focused meetup groups. Come through at 7pm, we’ll have all the group leaders introduce themselves around 7:30pm and hang out over pizza and beer.

Some groups participating include:

This is a perfect opportunity to find out more about local tech user groups as well as get to know some different members of the community before Tech Week.

Full Disclosure: Technically Philly organized this Meta Meetup, working with these various meetup groups and partnered with Monetate and Zivtech for food
