The New York Code + Design Academy, which launched in Philly earlier this year, partnered with Girl Develop It to create a scholarship for women looking to get into software development.
It’s a $10,000 scholarship that pays for a NYCDA’s intensive web development course. Special consideration will be given to mothers and veterans, said NYCDA’s Constance Ip.
Learn more about the program at an event on July 21, 7:00-8:30 p.m., at The Hub City View. They’ll launch the online application that day and announce a winner Aug. 3, Ip said.
