LadyHacks: It’s the second annual women-only hackathon. First timers are more than welcome. Ticket sales will be donated to TechGirlz. Friday, 6:00 – Sunday, 6:00 p.m. First Round Capital, 4040 Locust Street. University City. RSVP. $10.

Drop in and Do at the Department of Making + Doing : This open hack night at the University City makerspace is for teens, adults, novices and experts alike. Bring a project or a problem or just bring yourself. Thursday, 7:00 p.m. Department of Making + Doing, 3711 Market Street. University City. RSVP. Free.

Smart Data: Enterprise Semantics & Search: Join the Semantic Web Meetup to hear from Mike Grove of Clark & Parsia, who will be discussing Stardog, an RDF database with semantic search capabilities built-in, and Paul Brock, who will be discussing his work designing an enterprise search system for scientists at Johnson and Johnson.
