Ben Trigg will talk about his map, which caused quite a stir in Wilmington.

Remember the D.C. guy who made an interactive crimp map of Wilmington? His name is Ben Trigg, and he’ll speak at Tuesday night’s Open Data Delaware meetup.
In January, he asked Technical.ly Delaware if the ArcGIS database he put together, based on information from the News Journal’s Data Delaware Center, was of interest at all to Wilmingtonians. Between the response we got from readers and Tuesday’s meetup, it’s safe to say the map has indeed sparked some interest.

At the event, Trigg will talk about the map and suggestions he’s received to improve it for possible use in an app.
The meetup is from 6-8 p.m. at 1313 Innovation, and there will be time following Trigg’s talk to share about other open data projects.
