Aquicore

When it comes to D.C. real estate, Aquicore knows the industry in and out. This innovative all-in-one real estate operations and performance optimization platform is changing the way some of D.C.’s best properties are run. If you want a career that’s leading tech in its industry, here it is:

Capital One

Sometimes as an engineer, it can be frustrating to predict what your final product will be or how it will impact customers on the other end. That’s where a gig at Capital One is different.

As a member of the retail and direct technology team, you’ll be engineering solutions that directly impact customers. Think: improving upload time on Capital One deposits, innovating the UX on ATMs, troubleshooting online servicing, or even improving the customer experience at cafes and call centers.

Flatiron School

Although they aren’t necessarily hiring, the Flatiron School is a must-stop on the NET/WORK DC list. The newly opened D.C. campus has some major opportunities for career changes as well as seasoned professionals.

The Data Science Fellowship is new to D.C. and offers a 15-week intensive course for $0. If that’s not sweet enough, their partnership with SeatGeek is offering up to $200,000 in scholarships for women in pursuit of a tech education. Virginia Tech

To bring innovation, you can never afford to stop learning. And, from new-age boot camps to established universities, there is no shortage of options when it comes to continuing your education in tech.
