After unexpected delays in getting necessary approvals from Apple, the HDScores app is finally ready to launch for iOS.
The app compiles publicly available restaurant inspection data from hundreds of localities including Montgomery and Anne Arundel counties and the District of Columbia.
The app was the brainchild of Glen Burnie resident Matthew Eierman, a culinary school graduate turned entrepreneur.
The app received approval from Apple on Thursday and should be available on the iTunes Store, Eierman said in an email, adding that the Android version should be ready for submission to the Google Play store within the next 30 days.
