HackUMBC: first campus-wide hackathon coming to UMBC in Dec.

The hackathon will be open to all UMBC students and will take place over 24 hours from Dec. 6 to Dec. 7.

The hackathon is being held on the top floor of the UMBC Commons building.

Registration begins Nov. 1, but the University of Maryland, Baltimore County is already advertising its “first-ever campus-wide hackathon,” hackUMBC.
According to the hackUMBC website, the hackathon will be open to all UMBC students and will take place over 24 hours from Dec. 6 to Dec. 7.
You’ll remember that Hopkins just held its first student-run hackathon, putting the hacking craze fully onto campuses in the region.
