Full disclosure: Chatham Financial and Zip Code Wilmington are sponsors of NET/WORK Delaware.

NET/WORK takes the tedious, time-consuming, nerve-wracking parts out of job hunting and opts for a simpler method: Show up, connect with awesome companies, walk away with an offer. Easy enough, right?

To make the experience that much more straightforward, we’ve even highlighted a few of the hiring companies joining us on this Wednesday, March 20, at CSC’s headquarters. Print your resume and grab a cup of joe.

Here’s a look at just a few of the 10 companies you’ll want to meet.

Chatham Financial

This tech-forward company is more than a financial institution: Chatham Financial is an inventive company that works with engineers to innovate their field. With open floor plans and quarterly hacks, there is no shortage of opportunities for engineers to think creatively about their work.

“We look for people with a passion in technology or problem solving and a willingness to learn new things,” said Dana Mieras, talent acquisition coordinator at Chatham Financial.

Chatham puts many of the technical decisions in the hands of developers, not management, so engineers are able to have a voice in how projects unfold.

There are a variety of opportunities available with Chatham Financial from senior data engineer to quantitative researcher and developer, full-stack software developer to software developer in test, UX designer and more. For a full list of its openings, click here.

Zip Code Wilmington

Although the team isn’t necessarily hiring, Zip Code Wilmington is a must-stop on the NET/WORK list. Since its launch in September 2015, Delaware’s first nonprofit coding school has been a major force in the tech community.

“We are a software development school that offers a 12-week coding boot camp with job placement assistance upon completion of the program,” says Janelle Bowman, marketing manager at Zip Code Wilmington. “Our boot camp program prepares students to take on various tech roles including software developer, software engineer, QA tester and business analyst.”

The “fun but intense” culture at Zip Code promises you’ll learn what you need to land that dream job out of school while networking with future leaders along the way.

“We’re creating a community of developers that will eventually contribute to our local economy and fill those in-demand tech roles that we so often see,” says Bowman. Applications for Zip Code’s fall program open on April 1.
