Baltimore city’s first conference dedicated to responsive design across multiple devices doesn’t happen until May 9, but it already needs a bigger space.
Bmoresponsive was originally scheduled to take place at the Star-Spangled Banner Flag House in the Jonestown neighborhood, but organizer Michael Jovel said the conference is being moved to the 2640 Space in Charles Village. The reason for the switch: higher registration numbers than expected, as well as some logistical problems with columns in the Flag House that would’ve obstructed the views of attendees.
“We are at about 120 and sales have really picked up in the last couple of weeks,” Jovel said via e-mail. “Being a first year conference I have been surprised by the interest and support Bmoresponsive has received.”
Jovel said, however, that despite the move he plans to “keep things pretty intimate” and not add many more conference attendees.
Bmoresponsive will be May 9, 9 a.m.
