When he lived in Baltimore, Mike Brenner used bmo.re as a shortened URL for sharing links. Now that he moved to Portland, Ore., the former Betamore CEO wants someone in Baltimore to have it.
The domain is being auctioned off. Current bid: $500.
In an email, Brenner said he was reaching out to Baltimore leaders in hopes one of them might scoop it up. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will support Digital Harbor Foundation.
