On Thursday, AccelerateBaltimore held its third annual Demo Day at the Emerging Technology Center incubator in Highlandtown. Here are the six startups that presented:
SeeFuture: This platform uses an algorithm to connect students with mentors. It also serves as a money-saving recruiting tool for businesses.
Graphtrack: The firm’s app, NutriMAP, allows dieters to scan QR codes on recipes in a book, which it then plots on a triangular map based on fat, protein and caloric content to help users reach their goals.
Heyy: The firm’s eponymous app, which CEO Mark Manzo touted as “offline-first online dating,” is essentially a monetized version of Craigslist’s missed connections section. The app allows users who believe they connected with someone or saw someone  they’d like to meet online to post their experience or a photo using the app, then that person may respond. The app will also offer daily deals for couples.
Gracular: Gracular’s platform automates prior art search for prospective patent applicants, a process that currently can cost up to $25,000.
Speaker Blast: Speaker Blast uses wireless networks including Wi-Fi and 4G to transmit and play audio across a number of devices. We wrote about them here.
Ntensify: The firm provides branded merchandise stores for mobile game developers, handling payments, design, manufacturing and fulfillment for their licensors. Ntensify already has four brands licensed.
