Broke in Philly is a collaborative reporting initiative focused on economic mobility through which more than 20 local news organizations provide in-depth, nuanced and solutions-oriented reporting on the issues of poverty and the push for economic justice in Philadelphia.
Both Technical.ly and Generocity are included in the reporting project. Read more about Technical.ly’s involvement here.
This effort is led by nonprofit Resolve Philadelphia, a new hub for the city’s general interest, community and ethnic news organizations to produce collaborative solutions reporting and community engagement activities that address urgent social challenges.
These and other outlets are dedicating time and energy to this project:
Resolve Philadelphia is made possible with support from the Lenfest Institute, Klein College of Media and Communications at Temple University, and the Solutions Journalism Network.
