After the service was only available for two days earlier this year, Twitter is relaunching Twitter Blue, the app’s premium version, allowing users to edit tweets, upload videos and get the once-coveted blue checkmark next to their name.

Twitter Blue launched earlier in the year with a fair share of complications. Anyone could “verify” their account, leading to disinformation, false impersonations and general chaos.

With its relaunch, owner Elon Musk promises better verification and a smoother process for businesses and individuals searching for the blue checkmark.

It’s a good reminder that it’s worth trying again if you don’t succeed at first — whether it be overhauling a previously beloved social media platform or applying for an exciting new role.
