You should laser cut your holiday cards at the Department of Making + Doing

The next "Make Your Own Philly Holidays" workshop is this Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The holidays have arrived at the Department of Making + Doing and you’re invited to laser cut some holiday cards, make your own Philadelphia-themed cookie cutters and whatever else you can dream up using the University City makerspace’s equipment.

The next “Make Your Own Philly Holidays” workshop is this Saturday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Get tickets ($5 – $10) here.

The DMD also holds drop-in nights every Thursday for anyone who wants to get their hands dirty. And don’t forget about DMD partner The Hacktory‘s Kickstarter campaign to teach artists how to incorporate technology into their work: the campaign ends Tuesday.
