We’re down to just one week until the second annual Philly Tech Week presented by AT&T.

With more than 80 events over the course of just one week, creating a plan of attack might feel a little overwhelming.

In keeping with our promise to help you prepare for the tech tidal wave, we’ve picked five of the most interesting digital access and policy events that you don’t need to be a policy wonk to get a lot out of.

Last week we highlighted six awesome entrepreneurship events. To be clear, we’ve tried our best to make sure only the most meaningful events are on our calendar, so there’s value in all of them. These are just some that might have wide interest.

  • Lunchtime Series: OpenAccessPhilly Showcase: Lightning presentations on major public-private partnerships including Code for America, OpenDataPhilly, Connect Philly and Freedom Rings.

  • Frankford Computer Training for Constituents: The Office of State Representative Tony Payton, Jr., The Frankford Community Development Corporation and The People’s Emergency Center will host a computer training class for constituents with limited computer access and capabilities in the Frankford community.

  • KEYSPOT: Crossroads: The Intersection of Print and Digital Literacy: Philly Keyspots will host a discussion of the city’s challenges with digital literacy and numeracy, including how the Parks & Recreation Department is using innovative technology and e-learning practices to address these issues and what role you can play in fostering digital inclusion.
