Blue Bell-based B2B tech firm Anexinet has acquired Atlanta’s Light Networks

It's the second Atlanta-based company the digital services provider has scooped up in the last year.

Blue Bell-based Anexinet announced Thursday that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Atlanta-based communication services provider Light Networks.

With this deal, Anexinet, a 21-year-old consulting firm with offerings from B2B apps to technical infrastructure support, will bring on Light Networks’ contact center, network and telecom solutions, the companies said in a statement. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

It’s the second Atlanta-based acquisition for Anexinet in the last year. In October 2020, it bought automation services company SereneIT and also opened an Atlanta office. Anexinet now has offices in Blue Bell, Atlanta and Guadalajara and about 300 employees, up from 250 just three years ago. (Check out its dozens of currently open roles.)

In 2018, Anexinet also acquired San Jose’s Propelics, makers of mobile applications for the enterprise sector. That deal added 100 staffers and introduced a West Coast presence. An Anexinet spokesperson said due to the guidelines of private equity firm Mill Point Capital, which acquired Anexinet in 2019, the company cannot say how many employees Light Networks has.

This most recent acquisition will add to Anexinet’s growth trajectory and ability to provide innovative solutions to its clients, CEO Brian Glahn said in a statement.

Light Networks was founded in 2006 and is a Cisco premier partner, offering a wide range of communication services, while Anexinet is more centered on the B2B space. In the last few years, Anexinet has been focusing on customer experience, workplace modernization, data and analytics, and cloud and hybrid IT solutions. The companies, which said they do not overlap in geography or customers, will begin immediately cross-selling products and services to customers.

“The company’s engineering-led approach will expand Anexinet’s portfolio with unique voice, video, and collaboration capabilities, while also significantly adding depth to our networking abilities with Cisco engineering expertise,” Glahn said.


Light Networks cofounder Robby Paul said that Anexinet’s methodology and culture aligned well with their own.

“We are excited to combine our contact center and collaboration expertise with Anexinet’s digital transformation and automation and AI capabilities,” he said. “We believe the combined practices will continue to improve how our clients can effectively engage with their customers, to ultimately drive growth and optimize costs.”
