Entrepreneurship organization and community Philly Startup Leaders is accepting applications for the second cohort of its idea-stage accelerator.
The 2019-rebranded programming, now called Founded in Philly, encompasses two accelerators: one for idea stage entrepreneurs and a second for more established, early-stage companies. The former, dubbed Series I, will welcome 20 entrepreneurs for virtual programing early next year.
Check out the participants of the first cohort, which kicked off early this year (and moved to virtual participation midway because of, you know, the pandemic).
The program aims to “teach new founders the mindset, skills, and endurance needed to pursue entrepreneurship and build a sustainable company.” It will focus on founder development, mentorship and navigating the startup community here in Philly.
The program will close with participation at PSL’s Entrepreneur Expo during 2021 Philly Tech Week. Participation includes a $250 fee, and Tuesday evening sessions from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in February through May of 2021. Applications are open through Nov. 20.
