When I think of Philly Tech Week I think of three distinct things.

There’s the innovative community that makes it all happen, the epic tech expo/dance party that closes out the week and the free, all-inclusive kickoff that gets the ball rolling.

Get this year’s celebration started at the Philly Tech Week 2018 presented by Comcast Kickoff Festival @ Schmidt’s Commons organized by WeWork and Technical.ly. It’s all happening Friday, April 27 from 5:00–10:00 p.m., rain or shine.

RSVP

Before we dive into the 10 days of incredible programming that bolsters the successes of local organizations, we should get together and party. That’s what the kickoff is all about. Here’s the game plan:

  • Pick up your Philly Tech Week T-shirt ($10)
  • Grab a bite to eat from local restaurants and food trucks
  • Sip a drink (alcoholic or non, this is family friendly)
  • Play some locally built games

Interested in demoing a your game at the kickoff? Apply here.
